Allsop’s next residential auction – which will take place on Thursday 19 July at the luxury InterContinental London Park Lane hotel – will feature more than 210 lots.

The catalogue, which is now live, includes a wide variety of investments across the UK.

A rare Grade II listed building in South Kensington is one of those up for auction. Internally arranged to offer student accommodation, the property has been under the same ownership for 24 years and generates rental income of around £173,500 per annum. It is guided at £5 million to £5.2 million, making it one of the highest value lots in the July catalogue.

There is also a three-bedroom self-contained ground floor flat in Hendon – guided at £1 million to £1.1 million. It spans 1,733 square foot and comes with access to a private gym, swimming pool and concierge.

In addition, there are a number of development opportunities on offer in the catalogue, including a detached bungalow in the Coombe Hill area close to Kingston upon Thames. With a guide price of £1.9 million-plus, the property comes with planning permission to convert the site into a six-bedroom luxury house spanning 7,825 square foot.

Lot 138a, meanwhile, is a development opportunity in Torquay, Devon, which is guided at £1.4 million-plus. The 0.724-acre site includes outline planning permission to provide up to 75 one and two-bedroom apartments.

Elsewhere, lot 169, offered collectively with lots 170-181, contains 13 three-bedroom townhouses in Halifax, Yorkshire. With a guide price of £1.25 million-plus, the investment currently generates £66,000 from ten houses, while the other three are currently vacant.

“July’s catalogue features an excellent and rare selection of investments, including a broad range of development opportunities across the country, which are still highly popular in the auction room,” Richard Adamson, partner and auctioneer at Allsop, said. “Despite the negative Brexit headlines, there is still strong appetite in the market from buyers looking to purchase a good quality investment before the summer holidays begin.”

The auction takes place on Thursday July 19 at the InterContinental London Park Lane, W1J 7QY. The catalogue can be viewed online here.
