Three exclusive holiday villas on Sir Richard Branson’s own private estate, Son Bunyola, will be offered by Engel & Völkers after the agency signed an agreement with the Virgin Group.

The villas, located on Mallorca’s west coast, form part of Engel & Völkers overall strategy ‘to expand the premium holiday rentals market on the island and offer exclusive “hotel” resort style service and bespoke facilities to international clientele’.

The holiday rental properties also offer a number of additional services, including a concierge, a private Michelin star chef, helicopter transfer, yacht charter and the use of a private jet.

The exclusive villas are set in 680 acres of land with views to the sea. They have been restored from original historic buildings, sleep 8 to 10 people and are ideal for ‘families, groups, events/celebrations and weddings for up to 50 people’.

The cost of a weekly rental includes all drinks, daily breakfast, lunch and dinner on 6 days tailored to the client’s requirements, plus a concierge service, free WiFi and daily housekeeping/pool service.

Elsewhere, the firm’s Luxury Collection Mallorca was launched last year to meet the increased demand from international clients for deluxe holiday rentals in the south-west of the country.

The collection includes a number of high-quality villas which must adhere to strict criteria, with ‘spectacular views, the latest facilities and a high level of personal service’.

The villas, which are mostly to be found in Puerto Andratx, range from 5-7 bedrooms and include a swimming pool and large terraces for outside dining and entertaining. Furthermore, a full range of additional services – including personal concierge, private jet and yacht charter – are also on offer.

“As the leading international brand in real estate in Mallorca with over 25 years expertise on the island we are now expanding the market to offer more exclusive rentals for holiday or longer lets,” Florian Hofer, Managing Director Engel & Völkers Balearic Islands, said.

“The rental market is an extension of our main real estate business and as we have the ‘know how’ of handling wealthy individuals and understanding their needs Engel & Völkers is ideally positioned to offer a premium service to these clients”.
