Allsop releases September residential auction catalogue

Allsop’s upcoming residential auction will see 229 lots auctioned at The Cumberland Hotel on Great Cumberland Place on September 14.

Following a politically unstable first half of the year, Allsop’s online catalogue consists of a larger number of lots than last year’s September auction.

Twenty-one lots are priced at £1 million and above, with lot 50 in north west London, one of the highest in the catalogue, priced at £2.5 million. The site comprises a three-storey office block spanning 9,633 square ft and comes with licensed development rights for conversion to 17 flats.

Lot 33, a 22,572 square ft office building and seven warehouses, offered at £1.75 million, also comes with permitted development rights.

Richard Adamson, partner and auctioneer at Allsop, commented: “The September catalogue offers a wide variety of attractive lots including high value assets and strong investments in the regions.”

“There are some exciting development opportunities in desirable locations UK-wide, including lots with planning permission and permitted development rights granted, both of which are likely to prove very popular in the auction room.”

The catalogue also features high value lots across the country. Lot 67, a newly refurbished six bedroom family home in Teddington, has a guide of over £1.6 million and lot 169, a three bedroom flat in Earls Court, has a guide of over £2 million.

In addition, lot 161a, a Hampshire manor house with eight bedrooms, six reception rooms and four acres of grounds is being offered with a guide of £1 million.

In the south of the country, lot 158, a 24-apartment mansion block building in Goring-by-Sea, West Sussex, is generating significant interest with a guide of £1.1 million.

Affordable lots of good quality in the north, which offer attractive yields, are predicted to be popular once again. Lots 117a, 117b, 117c and 117d, a collection of terrace properties in Leeds, are each offered at a starting price of £50,000.
