A growing number of Britons are investing in Berlin’s property market, according to a local leading estate agent.
Bewocon, one of Berlin’s best established estate agents, is looking to directly target more UK buyers, following strong growth in British property buyers in the Berlin capital over recent years. The move by the German firm highlights the growing trend of overseas property agents directly targeting British-based investors.
The company reports that many Brits tend to favour buying property in the central Mitte district of Berlin, a prime area where the average price of a home costs €3,921sqm (£3,005).
