CBRE appoints new Senior Director for residential investment

Former employee Andrew Screen has been appointed as a Senior Director by CBRE. He will work within the company’s Investment and Funding team.

Screen, an expert in residential funding and the private rented sector (PRS), specialises in joint ventures and funding development projects for both private and public sector clients.

Using his experience of the residential development and investment markets, he will work side by side with developers and investment funds in order to help bring large scale residential developments and joint ventures to fruition. His other main goal will be to expand CBRE’s existing services to investment funds and PRS consultancy.

Screen, who previously worked for CBRE before leaving eight years ago, was most recently the head of GVA Financial Consultancy. There he specialised in structured property finance, the PRS and debt and equity arrangement.

“This is a very exciting time to be in residential investment; CBRE is the market leader in PRS funding and has the knowledge to maximise the opportunities that exist within the marketplace,” Screen said of his new role.

Chris Lacey, Head of Residential Investment & Funding at CBRE, added: “Andrew re-joins us with some fantastic experience and we look forward to him helping to build our client offering in this space. His contacts are second to none and he is widely regarded as a leading expert in the industry.”
