Investorist, which claims to be the world’s largest off-plan property marketplace, is holding a week-long event in China next month.

The event – Investorist Live – will take place in Beijing and Shanghai between September 5 and September 9.

Ten global developers will be showcasing projects in the UK, Europe, the Caribbean, Australia and the United States.

Investorist says previous events in China have proved successful, attracting high number of selling agents looking to source new opportunities for their investor clients.

Despite a slowdown in the Chinese economy, the event organisers say there is still a strong appetite for bricks and mortar among Chinese investors.

What’s more, interest in UK properties has increased significantly since June’s Brexit vote as buyers look to take advantage of the favourable exchange rates.

“Brexit prompted an almost immediate response from our Investorist members outside the UK,” says Jon Ellis, founder and chief executive of Investorist.

“Property investment professionals from around the globe are wanting to capitalise on the change in the market.”

For more information on the event, which takes place early next month, email Manson Zhao on: [email protected].
