Some 14 residential properties were sold at Remax Malta’s first ever Maltese property auction at the Hilton Malta last week.

The auction service has been launched to help more vendors offload properties in Malta, presenting investors with the perfect platform to acquire competitively priced homes.

For its first auction, Remax had a wide selection of properties on offer, ranging from apartments and character homes to luxury villas. The company is now planning to host four property auctions a year in Malta, together with individual auctions for new developments and commercial property projects.

Kevin Buttigieg, the CEO of Remax Malta who presided over the auction, said: “As leaders in the industry we have been monitoring the market for many years and we feel that the time is opportune to launch this new service for the benefit of our clients.”

“With close to 300 agents working in 23 Remax offices we feel we have the right resources to offer a reliable and superior service,” he added.
