With thousands of Britons who own property in Spain still trapped in negative equity with their house prices stuck below 2007 levels following the spectacular collapse in the Spanish property market, European property experts, EU Property Solutions, claims that can help offer struggling homeowners ‘a way out’ of trouble.

The company, which specialises in offering homeowners advice and guidance when negative equity becomes a problem, is offering to help those in Spain which require advice on legal issues and repossessions and guidance on dealing with mortgage arrears. The firm also claims that it can help sell properties that may be difficult to move for a multitude of reasons.

James Bell, director of EU Property Solutions, said: “Spain’s economic troubles have had a serious effect on homeowners abroad. Those who thought they were going on to better things have actually found themselves in unprecedented situation that they are struggling to find a way out of.

“The EU Property team is made up of local property market experts. We use our on the ground experience in Spain and up to date knowledge to advise our customers on the best course of action, then guide them through the process to minimise stress and upset.”
