Property investment firm Circle Property has announced its decision to float on the London Stock Exchange.

The company, which owns a number of property assets across the Midlands, was formed in 2002 with the express goal of acquiring a portfolio of commercial properties for investment purposes.

It owns Building 300 and Victory House at Northampton Business Park in the East Midlands, as well as a warehouse on Ansty Road in Coventry. In addition, it is the owners of Cheltenham House, a 14,481 sq ft building at 14-16 Temple Street in Birmingham.

Circle Property’s portfolio, which has been independently valued at around £73.9m, also includes properties in Bristol, Milton Keynes, Poole, Staines, Coventry, Maidstone, London, Gloucester, Enfield, Southampton, Salford, Shipley, Barnsley and Rugby.

The portfolio has been held by Circle Property Unit Trust (CPUT) – a closed-ended, unlisted unit trust in Jersey – since 2006.
