Speed-dating investment advert hits screens

Residential property investment platform Property Partner has launched a major advertisement campaign using a speed-dating theme to attract more investors.

The platform already has more than 3,500 investors who have crowdfunded more than £8m worth of buy-to-let property since its launch in January.

Property Partner allows investors to build up a portfolio of properties without any of the hassle of mortgages, solicitors or property management had you bought it outright yourself.

The TV commercial, a first for Property Partner, uses the idea of speed-dating to show how simple it is to build a property portfolio. In the commercial, there are would-be suitors, shot in a memorable dating scenario and wearing houses on their heads, with the message that property ‘can be hard to get your head around’.

However, in the case of Property Partner, investing in individual residential properties is simple, where investors can purchase as little or as much as they like. They then benefit from receiving a monthly rental income and any capital growth in direct proportion to their ownership.

So far, individual investments have ranged from £50 to more than £100,000, with 65 per cent buying shares in multiple properties.

This platform also enables investors to put their property holdings for sale via a designated secondary market. Over £1m of ‘resale’ shares have already been traded on the property stock exchange.

Dan Gandesha, CEO of Property Partner commented: "With the click of a button, you can build up your own property portfolio without any of the hassle of buying a property by yourself."

The widespread advertising campaign is running for three weeks this September, and has spots on key television stations including Channel 4, Sky Sports, Sky News, More4, BT Sport and many more.
