Zoopla reveals October’s most-viewed property

A five bedroom family home, on sale for under £190k, was named October’s most viewed property, according to property website Zoopla.

Compiled using Zoopla’s tool, allowing users to search by ‘most popular’, it has been revealed that a five bedroom home, located in Pontefract, gained the most views with a whopping 163k in the last month alone.

This bargain property may have gained the most attention due to its highly reasonable pricing, as the property is up for sale for just £187,950, £556,000 less than the average asking price for a five bedroom property in England.

Also on the list of the most popular properties was a seven bed mansion on Wimbledon Common, and with Centre Court only a stone’s throw away, it’s unsurprising it made the top ten. This particular property is not only situated on the aptly named Murray Road, but it boasts a cinema room, gym and bar area. 

It appears from these findings that us Brits are more keen on viewing detached standalone properties too, with all top ten properties in the October list being detached.

Luxurious London properties also seemed to fair pretty well in October, with a six bedroom property in Elstree making the top five with 55k views. It’s difficult to know whether it was the stunning spiral staircase or the indoor pool which attracted potential buyers.

Another London property, this time in the up-market enclave of Hampstead, has also been attracting views in its droves. On the market for almost £8m, its unsurprising why this property has been popular as it not only contains a games room, but with it bespoke Italian style kitchen and his and hers dressing room, it is clearly attracting buyers.
