Looking to buy a property in France that could be used as an investment? There are a few places where you can be sure that you will find the right house or apartment, to rent out easily. Of course, you can also use it whenever you feel like taking a holiday with the family, so the location needs to be ideal for that purpose as well. Here are three cities you should focus your energy on: Nice (Côte d’Azur), Le Biot (Alps) and Arles (Provence).

Nice: The French Riviera

Anyone who has ever been to Nice, wishes to go back someday. That is what you should be looking for when buying real estate in a foreign country: A location where you know you will be happy to head to, every once in a while. The city has everything you may want. First, the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, that faces Nice, where you can bathe in summer and enjoy its splendor in winter. Then, you have all the amenities of a large city inside the town, from great shopping, to wonderful food. If you miss the sun and you are looking for something chic, then you should think about acquiring luxury real estate in Côte d’Azur. There are other cities you may want to look at, as well, if Nice is too busy for you, including Villefranche-sur-Mer, Eze and Cap d’Antibes.

Le Biot: Mountain Pleasures

If money is no object, there are better known town in the Alps than Le Biot. We can think of such names as Annecy and its incredibly pure lake or the various towns bordering Lake Geneva. But if you want great value for your money, then you should look at properties in Le Biot. It is still a luxurious location, but what you would pay 2 million euros in Morzine, for example, you will only pay one million in Le Biot. You would still benefit from the clean air of the Alps and have all the opportunities you can think of, to enjoy winter sports around the area. So, why pay more, when you can have the same amenities for much less?

Arles: All the Beauty of “La Provence”

If you are a romantic and cannot live without beauty around you, then La Provence is the location where you need to look for a house. And right now, there is no better place than Arles. Located by the Rhône River, you will enjoy great weather (and wine). There is a ton of events being held throughout the year, and there are even areas listed as UNESCO heritage sites, featuring Roman monuments. Not to be missed!
