Standard Life Investments Property Income Trust Limited, known as SLIPIT, has been named Investment Company of the Year in the property category at this week’s Investment Week awards.
SLIPIT, which has total assets under management of over £270m, has provided a return of 29% over one year and 45.8% over three years to investors, according to Standard Life.
David Paine, Head of Real Estate, Standard Life Investments, said: “I am delighted that our client has won this award. Jason Baggaley, fund manager of SLIPIT, actively manages the portfolio and has demonstrated his ability to add value through asset management initiatives.”

The award follows hot on the heels of last month’s win for SLIPIT at the Investment Adviser 100 Club Awards.
